Has anyone written a file-based XAResource? I have a situation in which I write to a filesystem, and would like to remove the file in the case of a transaction rollback; however, I'm not sure how to support this in the case of no transaction being used, and I'm not sure how I can cleanly integrate with the JTA architecture. I *think* I can leverage JTA by declaring my object an XAResource, but the spec isn't very clear on it, and examples/explanations aren't easy to find. Most examples center around JDBC and J2EE transactions, which makes sense considering those are by far the most common case, but...
