Please moderate...and moderate Tim! Tim, if you really want to know what it is like to program in the real world, I would suggest to you that whatever it is each of us are working on, we have better things to do than read this rubbish. Please try to find a newbie list and read some beginners books. I'm sure I am not the only person being irritated to hell by all of this. The threads I had read up until this point had been really interesting. Am a recent list member and am considering leaving the list if we keep being spammed with nonsense.
This list is fantastic, btw. Most useful programming related forum that I've found in ages...nice to be exposed to other areas of java and other types of problems outside the scope of my job without having to program at night at home through blurry eyes. ;o) -----Original Message----- From: Alan Williamson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 26 September 2002 14:59 To: JDJList Subject: [jdjlist] Do we want a moderator? ||| I am sorry if I sound a little harsh but I am tired of ||| deleting so many messages flooding in thru my inbox. Not at all Satya ... we can do this ... but it was felt that this would be too extreme. There is no reason at all why the JDJ'Editors can't be moderators and anyone else that wishes to offer their services for the good of the list. So ... shall we do a poll on who wants this list moderated?
