Hello,
If you can't find a direct DOS "replace" command for file content (which
surely exists on the web) mail again.
My "wnx_dos" package (which mainly is the WINNIX version for DOS) - e.g.
downloadable via the Java DOS/WIN select applet @
http://uuhome.de/penski/xsoft.htm - already contains a
"replace <source> <destiny> <expression> <replacement>"
command and a shortcut "wnx_dos root" respectively "wnx_dos <username>
<firstcommand>" for slightly faster access
(with UNIX-like login-sequence : user 'root' for full command access ;
password : "Betatester" in the deployed version).
With some interest I'll update that DOS-version (e.g. to fully allow batch
usage) instead of the Windows[TM] version of WINNIX next time.

sincerely,
U. Penski
