Title: RE: [jdjlist] Developing for J2ME on Palm

I think you'll need Palm OS 3.5 or better.  I was very bummed to learn I can not upgrade my Handspring (permanent memory card) but maybe you'll have better luck with Palm -- keep us posted.

Subject: [jdjlist] Developing for J2ME on Palm

My day job is developing web apps using VAJava/Websphere. I recently
obtained a Palm IIIc cheaply and I'd like to play around developing
apps for it using J2ME. This would be at home in my spare time, so
I really don't want to spend a lot of money for a development
environment.

I'd like to hear from anyone with suggestions for an inexpensive
development environment targeting J2ME on Palm.

At home I've been using Eclipse as an IDE and like it. Anyone out there
using Eclipse for J2ME development? If so, how do you like it, and how
did you configure it for J2ME?

thanks,

-Ray
