Well,

IMHO, you confuse learning the syntax of a new programming language with
learning how to programm.
If esteemed Tim had learned how to programm first, and after that had choosed
a programming language, I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't ask these questions.

But, IMHO, this is not his fault, it's the education system that emphasises
the programming language over the "art of programming" ( I think they have
fallen prey to the buzzwords ).
First you have to learn algorythms, data structures, how to think, etc, not an
programming language.

I don't want to enter in "dangerous" subjects here about OOP, Windows and
stuff and start a flame war.
