Shouldn't:

    DocumentBuilder docBuilder = docBuilderFactory.newDocumentBuilder();

    docBuilderFactory.setValidating(false);

be:

    docBuilderFactory.setValidating(false);
    DocumentBuilder docBuilder = docBuilderFactory.newDocumentBuilder();

???
