Hi,

The OpenJDK6 B28 source release is now available for download:

https://java.net/projects/openjdk6/downloads/download/openjdk-6-src-b28-04_oct_2013.tar.gz

sha256sum:
ac4fceed060ad61dab938c41181455fb0910f58f6944f820f0637b0f0c64bf75

A list of all changes is available here:
https://openjdk6.java.net/OpenJDK6-B28-Changes.html

Please note that builds based on this do not pass the TCK. All the
failures were caused by limited crypto. Patches are available to address
this [1]. This is not a regression as far as I know.

Could you give me a piece of advice on this, please, what patch should I use for unlimited crypto support?

1) patch from OpenJDK7: maillist thread [1], patch [2]
2) patch from IcedTea6: maillist thread [3], patch [4]

A special thanks to Andrew Hughes for all his contributions (especially
with the hotspot 23 backport) and to Pavel Tisnovsky for testing.

Onwards to b29!

Cheers,
Omair
