Hello,
I would like to request for a phase 2 approval to push the following
change into JDK 7u10 repository.
It is necessary to have this fix in JDK 7u10, because it resolves a
customer's issue of high importance, while waiting for 7u12 update,
perhaps, could be unacceptable. Webrev contains both a fix and a
corresponding test. Before publishing this webrev all unit-tests from
"java.awt" and "javax.swing" packages related to serialization were run
and no negative changes were observed comparing results of the tests on
JDK with and without the fix.
