The change has been reviewed by Karen Kinnear, Coleen Phillimore and 
Harold Seigel, and committed to jdk8

The bug can result assertion failure on Solaris when native memory 
tracking is enabled and AutoShutdownNMT flag is set to false. The 
AutoShutdown = false is possible solution to OOM problem with 
Kitchensink.
