Hello,

 

I’d like to request a retrospective[0] request for approval of a JDK8 change
into the jdk7u40-dev repository. 

 

The change addresses the use of an uninitialized variable and is identical
in JDK7 and 8.

[0] As I were unfamiliar with the backporting process I incorrectly asked
Rickard to push the fix immediately after release management approval.
