It seems to me that the published change log only lists fixes in the
OpenJDK...

this is the jdk7u openJDK mailing list. OpenJDK doesn't contain
the deploy stack so it may not be suitable for discussion here.
I can confirm that b34 should contain this fix. b34 is currently
available at : https://jdk7.java.net/download.html
The bug database doesn't seem to reflect the correct build number.
I'll ask release engineering to investigate.
