As the work on 7u60 is quickly coming to a conclusion, the release is progressing according to plan. [1] The plan calls for a release in May. So 7u60 should be released by the end of the month, which happens to be next week - but as always, please note that these plans are preliminary and subject to change.
Finally, speaking of changes, as mentioned in a thread [2] on the web-discuss list, I don't think that publishing a source bundle for 7u60 separately from its Mercurial forest at jdk7u/jdk7u60 provides a lot of value these days. It seems much simpler to point users to forest + tag on the Project page for source code of a given release, and let downstream users that want a separate source code archive take care of creating one. cheers, dalibor topic [1] http://mail.openjdk.java.net/pipermail/jdk7u-dev/2013-November/008070.html [2] http://mail.openjdk.java.net/pipermail/web-discuss/2014-May/000469.html -- <http://www.oracle.com> Dalibor Topic | Principal Product Manager Phone: +494089091214 <tel:+494089091214> | Mobile: +491737185961 <tel:+491737185961> ORACLE Deutschland B.V. & Co.
