I would like to apply to become the next project lead of OpenJDK7u once Dalibor relinquishes the position.
I would lead the OpenJDK7u project in the same way as I have led OpenJDK 6: very conservatively, allowing bug fixes only, with security and stability as the overriding priorities. With the help of my colleagues (who have actually done most of the work) as a team I think we've done a pretty good job. >From what I remember of the handover of OpenJDK 6, it is only necessary for the project lead to give their blessing.
