Hi Andrew, > 'Reset' in what sense? I mean I could resolve them to the version in jdk7u when merging. Then all our tags are gone.

I have a > feeling the tags may not be accepted by jcheck. jcheck says this: jdk7u/hotspot%$ hg jcheck [jcheck @VERSION@ @DATE@] Illegal tag name: ppc-aix-port-b04 Illegal tag name: ppc-aix-port-b03 Illegal tag name: ppc-aix-port-b02 Illegal tag name: ppc-aix-port-b01 Illegal tag name: jdk7u101-b00 When we built the ppc-aix-port/jdk7u repo, we tried to avoid jcheck-errors, but it was not enabled on that repo. So not all changes would fulfill the requirements for jdk9. E.g., there are changes without bugID. In others, my openjdk name is spelled with capital 'G'. If this is a problem, I would have to bring the port to openjdk With diff/patch, making a single big new change. > Ok, I'll look this over in detail after the July CPU is over. Anyways, I figured I should first pull jdk7u to ppc-aix-port, because that makes it more simple for me to fix things and test the merging that's needed. There were some actual edits necessary.
