Attendees: Martin Zaun, Michelle Caisse, Craig Russell

Agenda:

1. The last issue - JDO-364 (Erik) The issue is about what class of instance to generate when reading persistent data. The company model is defined both in terms of persistent classes and persistent interfaces. When reading rows from the database, there is not enough information in the data to tell whether to instantiate an instance of the class Department or the class JPOXDepartment. The solution proposed is to add a discriminator column to the tables in the company model so the JDO implementation knows which class to instantiate.

2. Web site tasks (Michelle, Craig) Michelle has created a few web pages for running the TCK and for verifying the successful run of the TCK with the RI. The downloads page has been updated with more information.

AI Michelle: change wording of "package" to "project" when describing the downloads of the core, enhancer, etc. projects.

AI Craig: update the roadmap for JDO.

3. Steps to final release (Craig) First, resolve the bug. Second, call for a vote of the release of TCK. Third, publish the spec on the JCP site. Fourth, update the web site to refer to the JCP site.

4. Other issues (any and all)
