Spring 2.5 support for JDO 2.1 features

Everyone,

Please take a look at the issue linked below and consider what  
changes the Spring implementers should consider for supporting JDO  
2.1 features.  If we act quickly enough, it looks like we can get  
some early JDO 2.1 support rolled into the Spring 2.5 release.

Of course, I imagine that any changes we propose should be ones that  
we're quite certain will make it into the final 2.1 release...
