Now's the time for you to act to apply for the JPA 2.0 (JSR 317) expert group if you are planning to. Linda Demichiel is finalizing the memberships within the next few weeks. To join, either do so as a company representative or as an individual - details are at the JCP website. To join as an individual, you need to go to http://jcp.org/en/participation/membership and read the page, including the sidebar for individuals. The link to the JSPA for individuals is at http://jcp.org/aboutJava/communityprocess/JSPA2-IND.pdf. Once you fill out the application, you have to fax (not email) the application in to the contact given on the page. If you don't act now, you won't have a chance to participate other than by giving public feedback! -matthew
