Attendees: Matthew Adams, Michael Bouschen, Craig Russell
Agenda:
1. 3.0.1 patch (see
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO/fixforversion/12317950)
Virgo (Spring-enhanced OSGi container) has been tested with JDO 3.0.1.
So far, so good. Patch for export version looks good.
2. 3.1.0 release process
The Apache parent POM allows us to create a staging release. No update
from there.
3. JDOQL : Support for further methods (String, Enum, Date,
JDOHelper): patch available https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-658
Looks good. Based on the test cases for Enum, need a spec update as
well documenting restrictions on Enum.ordinal and Enum.toString. Also
should move the Math methods to another JIRA.
4. Other issues
The maven1 tck execution created three log files per configuration. It
looks like using maven2 there is only one big datanucleus log file.
Can this be changed to behave more like maven1?
When changing dependencies (to DataNucleus) it's necessary to rebuild
the exectck project before running tck. This should be documented
(somewhere). AI Michael.
Action Items from weeks past:
[April 8 2011] AI Craig comment on https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-617
re the utility of the update operator.
