Matthew thinks JDO marketing could use some help, especially around
noSQL. The wider community still thinks that JDO was deprecated (years
back) in favor of JPA and Hibernate, and this colors the perception of
the project.
DAlso need tooling for IDE's in particular. SpringData JDO is a
project that could attract new users/developers. Eclipse plugin for
creating entities, enhancement.

Michelle will soon be done with broken cross references and assertion
text. Next up: indexes.

JDO-707? Check for best practice.
Best practice is to put parent pom in its own sub-directory. Just need
a day to implement this change.
If you have a parent pom in a directory above other modules, it's
difficult to build just a part of the project because of the layout.
