Attendees: Michelle Caisse, Michael Bouschen, Matthew Adams, Craig Russell Agenda:
1. TCK query test failure: possible time zone issue in SupportedDateMethods: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-720 AI Michelle try removing the time zone setting and see if that fixes the issue. 2. New JIRA "Specifying NULL elements positioning in ordered columns": https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-721 AI Anyone who wishes to comment should take a look at the JIRA. Adding something to JDO would need some error handling where the underlying datastore doesn't support different ordering of NULL values. 3. News on JDO-678 "Ability to set properties on PersistenceManager" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-678 Almost done. 4. Other issues JPA has a search plan proposal that looks like a subset of the JDO fetch plan. The primary difference appears to be how the fetch groups are defined. In JPA the definition of search plans is centralized; in JDO the fetch plans are distributed across the jdo metadata. AI Matthew take a deeper look and discuss on the list. JDO is getting traction in Apache ISIS. They are defining a new datastore type to support JDO (and DataNucleus). AI everyone take a look and maybe subscribe to isis mail lists. Action Items from weeks past: [Aug 24 2012] AI Craig update the JIRAs JDO-689 JDO-690 and JDO-692 about JDOHelper methods. In process. [Aug 17 2012] AI Craig comment on JIRA JDO-589 Autocommit or nontransactional action [Sep 23 2011] AI Michael document when changing dependencies (to DataNucleus) it's necessary to rebuild the exectck project before running tck.
