Attendees: Michelle Caisse, Michael Bouschen, Craig Russell Agenda:
1. News on JDO-678 "Ability to set properties on PersistenceManager" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-678 New patch available. It should apply to trunk or branch. Please review both the specification update and the test case patch. 2. JDO release candidate https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-723 The patch was checked in to create the artifact assemblies and update the DataNucleus version. Michelle continues to work on the release process using maven and the apache-release profile. Looking at the local repository after a build, it looks like the src artifacts are being packaged. This is a side effect of using the apache-release profile. 3. Wiki spam: http://wiki.apache.org/general/WikiFrequentlyAskedQuestions The wiki is not configured with privilege groups. AI Michelle ask infra to set up an admin group and a contributors group. 4. Other issues Copyjdorijars has the same release number as tck and api. But exectck has a different number. Should they all be the same? Yes. The maven release plugin can automatically update the poms in the working repository. Failures in the plugin may have to be manually reverted if the plugin rollback doesn't work. Action Items from weeks past: [May 31 2013] AI Craig: put a table into an Appendix enumerating the properties and an indication of whether the property is an option or a property or both. [May 10 2013] AI Everyone take a look Apache ISIS and maybe subscribe to ISIS mail lists. [Aug 24 2012] AI Craig update the JIRAs JDO-689 JDO-690 and JDO-692 about JDOHelper methods. In process. [Aug 17 2012] AI Craig comment on JIRA JDO-589 Autocommit or nontransactional action [Sep 23 2011] AI Michael document when changing dependencies (to DataNucleus) it's necessary to rebuild the exectck project before running tck.
