Attendees: Michael Bouschen, Craig Russell

NOTE: Next week’s meeting will be delayed until 11:30 Pacific time

Agenda:

1. JDO 3.1: Need to go through change lists in JIRA for 3.1 RC1 and 3.1 to
prepare JCP Change Log

2. New comments on JIRA JDO-749 "Support for java.time types, and querying
using associated methods" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-749

New JIRA for Java 1.8 support. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-750
We would continue to support jdk 1.7 runtime but development would be done on
1.8. Test cases that use 1.8 features would have to be skipped during tck runs.

3. New comments on JIRA JDO-652 "Provision of a typesafe refactor-friendly
query capability for JDOQL" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-652

Still looking at how to reorganize Chapter 14 to accommodate the new API.

A new API using concepts from Jinq and Java 8 should be handled in a new JIRA.
It is clearly not in the JDO 3.2 time frame.

4. New comments on JIRA JDO-747 "Behavior of delete() with multiple concurrent
Transactions" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-747

Making progress on the JIRA

5. Anything left on JIRA JDO-748 "Tyops in spec and dead link on homepage"
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-748?

Nothing left. Resolved.
