The datanuclues nightly repository is no longer maintained. See https://www.datanucleus.org/downloads/maven2-nightly/README.txt: The DataNucleus Maven2 "nightly" repository is no longer actively maintained. Please download code from GitHub and build it manually. I leave the @Persist annotations untile there is a DN release. Regards Michael
