Attendees: Michael Bouschen, Tilmann Zäschke, Tobias Bouschen, Craig Russell

Next meeting: Wednesday June 15 1200 PDT 2100 CEDT

Agenda:

1. reproducible-build (|mvn clean install; mvn clean package artifact:compare|)

PR#36 has instructions for creating a reproducible build.
3.2 is not reproducible with older felix plugin .
3.2.1 is reproducible with newer felix plugins.

We should update the HowToReleaseJDO.md to check for reproducible build. This
was apparently in a branch that was not merged into main.

2. JIRA JDO-815 "Change headers on source files to use https:// instead of
http://"https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-815
PR #50 "Update pom.xml to change http to
https"https://github.com/apache/db-jdo/pull/50

3. Derby's removal of the security manager (see email from Tilmann)

Derby refers to Java 9 modularity feature to protect classes from outside use.
Using Java 9 would change the work done by Tilmann regarding security manager.

4. JIRA JDO-812 "Move to JDK 11 as the lowest supported
version"https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-812

5. Other issues

The 3.2 branch was not merged into main after releasing 3.2, so 3.2.1 was based
on the main branch.

AI Tilmann see if any of the changes in 3.2 branch need to be merged back to
main. Tilmann will create a new PR with the changes.
Also double check the v3.2 and v3.2.1 tags for the releases.

Action Items from weeks past:
