The attached patch fixes bugster bug #6811555. The problem is that when the user changes the langauge in GDM, the GUI is restarted in the new language picked. When this happens the DISPLAY environment variable is lost, and some PAM modules need this. The patch fixes GDM so it keeps the DISPLAY environment setting. This causes particular issue with some SRSS users who use PAM modules that need the DISPLAY variable.
I've worked with the customer who experienced the problem and verified that this patch addresses their issue.
