Chris:

GEGL provides infrastructure to do demand based cached non

I would say "libgegl-0.0 instead of GEGL. It's confusing to use
different names to refer to the same thing.

destructive image editing on larger than RAM buffers.

I would say "to do demand-based, cached, non-destructive image
             editing"
Adding commas and "-" characters makes reading the text more clear.

Through babl it provides support for a wide range of color
models and pixel storage formats for input and output.

I would more simply say "libgegl-0.0 uses the libbabl-0.0 library
to provide"

The "FILES" section should not document the /usr/bin/gegl interface.
It should have its own section 1 manpage, and the libgegl-0.0 and
gegl.1 manpage should reference each other in the "SEE ALSO" section.

The "SEE ALSO" section should reference attributes(5).

It might be good if the libgegl manpage referred to libbabl in it's
"SEE ALSO" section, what do you think? Might also be good if both
the libbabl and libgegl manpages referenced the GIMP manpage since
GIMP is the main user.
