You can build ekiga with both sse2 (or 3Dnow) optimized and Pentium 
versions using
isaexec to run ekiga and ldd to find the suitable libraries. I have done 
this in the
past, so if you want, I could quickly modify the spec file to do this.

Is the sparc version needed to be optimized?

Do you have some tests to verify any improvement?
