All, This bug is specific in NIS environment. The reason that network-admin cann't be launched is that the application look for some information from nis which is online but cann't provide any real service cause the network card has been deactivated.
The previous fix add "svcadm restart nis/client" after down the network card. In fact, nis/client will be started in a period of time no matter whether the service is available or not. This new fix add some function to check whether the nis client service is available by running "ypwhich". if the serivce is not available, we'll call svcadm diable -t nis/client to disable the nis/client service temporarily. When user reactivate the network adapter, we'll re-enable nis/client service if the nis/client is false temporary.
