This patch fixes a bug that was causing GDM to think it could not exec gnome.desktop session file since its TryExec line had arguments. This caused "gnome.desktop" to appear in the GDM sessions list rather than the actual session name defined in the /usr/share/xsession/gnome.desktop file.
I moved the modifications to gnome.desktop and CDE.desktop from the gdm-01-branding-solaris.diff to gdm-02-branding-general.diff since they make more sense here. Change the name of the gnome.desktop session file from "OpenSolaris GNOME Desktop" to "Java Desktop System" so it is consistent with the other session names we use, namely: + Failsafe Java Desktop System Note this string is in the same gdm-02-branding-general.diff patch (but not in the attached diff since that part of this patch did not change). I could change the strings further to be more consistent with the naming in CDE. However, I think changing these strings would affect translation and we should probably decide what we want the strings to be for sure, and make sure any strings that need translations can be scheduled before we modify it further.
