Cool :)

My browser window occupies about 2/3 of the big screen I have; but I
have the bookmarks sidebar up all the time so it's maybe 50% of wide
screen width.

I don't use as small a font as you.

The wrapping will split tabs if they have spaces in them :-(
I've tweaked the top bar. Can you tell me if it works for you now?

Looks OK.

"Roadmap" is in twice, once under "Quick Links" once under "About Jena"
All of the quick links items are dups of links that show up in the
relevant section second level menu. It just happens that roadmap is in
the second level menu visible on the home page - the about Jena section
- includes the roadmap

Do we need "incubating"? http://incubator.apache.org/clerezza/ does not.
I thought that was a requirement on us, but I'd be more than happy to
lose it.

http://incubator.apache.org/guides/branding.html#Naming
says:

[[
After a podling has been approved, the lists are created, and the initial code drop has commenced, the podling MUST be referred to as Apache "Podling-Name" AND mention that the project is under Incubation. Suitable mentions include:

 * Inclusion of the http://incubator.apache.org/"podling-name"; URL
* Apache "Podling-Name" is currently undergoing Incubation at the Apache Software Foundation.
]]
so a title of "Apache Jena (Incubating)" isn't necessary.

I would say that the front page text

"""
Jena is currently an incubator project of the Apache Software Foundation.
"""
==>
"""
Apache Jena is currently undergoing Incubation at the Apache Software Foundation.
"""
is the right level. If it should go on every page (which i don't read into the #Naming section) then put in the
<div id="footer"> is the right place.
