Chris, I just wanted to let you know that the Parliament [1] triple store (a triple store that is built with a Jena interface) has a mostly complete implementation of GeoSPARQL. We have implemented the property functions and filter functions for GeoSPARQL on top of our existing spatial index. For more info, you can check out [2].
