I think that the best solution would be to move the buttons, which are on the right side, to the left side - all actions will be on the left side. I proposed to add new extension point, because it is logical to have delete log (added by my plugin) in the same place as delete build and keep log from user point of view. I think that more logical is to have delete log, keep log and delete build in the same place as another actions. But it is really illogical to have delete log on the left side and delete build and keep log on the right side. And it is odd that delete project is link in the left side and delete build is button on the right side of page. There is a quite chaos.

My comment when I reviewed it was that actions added to this area wouldn't be supported by the new context menu functionality that Kohsuke recently introduced. IMO, it would be confusing to users to have some actions appear as links on the left side, and other actions appear as buttons in the top right corner. >From a code design perspective, it also seems odd to have distinct extension points for actions that differ only in their placement on a web page. I'm curious if other developers have an opinion about this one. -- Dean [1] https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins/pull/403
