I don't think we should make this more complicated then it already is…. I think we should not use the Issues on GitHub - not because I think it is not a nice feature, but because every Jenkins User and Developer should know where the Issues are and how these are tracked. I know JIRA is not everyones favorite (tyler :)) - but there is a lot of history and valuable information in there. Adding GitHub Issues into the game will not make handling easier (even with this connector) just my 2cents
