Such "new feature" issue should not be set as blocker. They maybe could be very useful for you but are not "blocking" use of this plugin. If you have jenkins development skills you can "burn" some hours developing a fix and propose a pull request, if you don't, you can sponsor those tickets, giving some money depending on business of your that depend on those features
