Are you sure it's just not a "spelling" error? There is no package named Hudson.security but hudson.security does.

Eventually I figured out that this particular class isn't in the jenkin*.jar file . . . it is a plugin class. So I thought "no problem, I'll just import the plugin jar too", but there is no jar. There is a *.class file, there is the "jpi" file . . . but nothing Netbeans will recognize as a jar . . . Even more interesting is that I then tried this: If (var instanceof Class.forName("LDAPSecurityRealm")) This failed, even though "var" contained a pointer to one of that very same class . . . so I know the JVM knows about it, but Class threw a not found exception. I eventually just closed by eyes and made calls on "var" assuming it is a LDAP class . . . but I really wanted to check first. Any ideas how to make that work?
