Hi,
I would like to get out a new release of the Jenkins ViewVC plugin:

I contacted the current maintainer, as listed on the Wiki page, but he just
told me to take over maintainership :)
I already have a jenkins-ci.org JIRA account and I have access to the
Github repositories.
Is there anything else I need to know for doing a release?
