I've done a fix for https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-19352.
As that is IMO is quite critical, can we have a release of the maven-plugin?
I'm not sure how this is handled now that the plugin is in it's own
repository (*).
Can I do the release myself? How do we handle the changelog of the
plugin - should it be included in the standard changelog of Jenkins or
does it have it's own - e.g. on its Wiki page?
I guess that the plugin is still bundled by default with Jenkins - so
how do we handle updates to the bundled version?

*) BTW: I have seen no announcement on the dev list, that the plugin
would be split. Would be nice, if we would have got something like this
- together with answer to the questions above
