Thinking that maybe that meant this was a temporary thing, I re-ran mvn
release, and it appears to have worked this time:

http://maven.jenkins-ci.org:8081/content/repositories/snapshots/org/jenkins-ci/plugins/slack/1.4-SNAPSHOT/maven-metadata.xml
And SUCCESS all around.

So, is there any way for me to track this now past this point? Or just wait
"half a day" and see if it shows up inside jenkins?
