I am not a lawyer by a long shot, but unless there is a clause in you or your
company's purchasing agreement regarding writing third party tools that might
forbid building a plugin, then no, there should be no problem.

We have a number of plugins that glue proprietary software to Jenkins, such as
the Perforce SCM plugin, or the JIRA Issues plugin.


As a courtesy you should make it clear on the plugin wiki page that the plugin
is *not* supported by Green Hills though.
