Hi all,

I want to know if there is any intention to support a mobile interface to Jenkins.

I frequently access the Jenkins via my smartphone and the current interface is too heavy (not for performance, but to 4" display).

So I was thinking if should be a good idea to degradate the interface when accessed by a mobile device. This could be detected by one filter and offered as an option in the page footer (mobile/normal). And in the jelly the designer can test for this attribute to morph the layout to adapt to the small screen layout.

This attribute could be used to prevent heavy operations with lots of elements and prevent some ajax updates.

I think this is better than maintain another interface.

What do you think?

Thanks.
