Cloning all.git as suggested on [1] fails for me every time.

        $ git clone http://git.jenkins-ci.org/all.git
        Cloning into 'all'...
        fatal: The remote end hung up upon initial contact

it appears I'm not the only one: When looking for related information, I found
the following in an otherwise unrelated discussion:

Is this broken and should be fixed? Or is this expected behavior for some
reason, and the wiki just outdated by suggesting that cloning should work?

Also, every build of the related infra_backend-merge-all-repo has dozens of
exceptions in the log (e.g. [2]).
