AFAIK Manuel wants to become a maintainer on his own. It's not a part of his work at CloudBees even if it provides some added value. I definitely agree that SVN plugin is not a best plugin to start from because of the huge technical debt in this plugin. I really doubt that the plugin can be returned to a healthy state without serious efforts from multiple contributors. I think that we should honor Manuel's readiness to start working on this direction. If there is no other candidates willing to maintain the plugin (Hello to jenkinsci/core), I suppose we should agree with the ownership and help Manuel with his ramp-up. > It should be enough to ask them to grant/bless you permissions. I disagree, because there is no official maintainer of the plugin.
