Hi Stefan, it looks like the plugin has been abandoned with the last activity years ago, so that should definitely be possible.
Still, CCing the previous maintainer. Just to clarify, you'd like to become maintainer, i.e. work further on improving the plugin rather than just merging your PR and moving on?
