Hi Adrian, Trying to reflect the current process here:
If you wish to become a maintainer on the plugin, then great! In this case, please say so and somebody will be able to grand you the permissions. That means you're ready to work on the plugin and handle it for sometimes (and handle JIRA issues and other PRs). The process is to at least try to ping the current maintainers (see https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Governance+Document#GovernanceDocument-Helpingandtakingoverdormantplugins ) If you only wish to get your PR merged, then we'll have to wait for someone to step up and willing to take over maintenance (if the plugin actually proves to be without maintainer anymore).
