I would like to ask you a question about "upgrading system technics". My own web-applications are installed on the clients server. Client use different VPN and different operational system (Linux, Windows). I have a big problem with sending new changing to a client. I am building my application via Jenkins (I am developing my application based on Meaven.) after that I send this built application to Nexus Repository. From Nexus I download my application and then I establish a VPN connection with client, I connect to client (ssh or rdp) and then manually deploy application on installed webcontener. I know that in the Internet are a lot of technology enable automatizing this process but I ask you, because based on yours experience, can you offer me the most secure and the fastest way to atomize this process? (Some clients which have Linux server open special port between server and me [to connection to this server is without VPN connection]. I thinking about using Jenkins ssh plug-in, to send my application. Is Jenkins ssh plugin enable establish connection with a lot of server?)
