Hi, As I've said in Twitter, the best recommendation is to start from trying Jenkins and it's interfaces. You could try to create an automation flow for one of your student projects. It should reveal some Jenkins UI issues + you will get some experience with the project area. You can find links to Jenkins 2.0 preview here <https://jenkins-ci.org/2.0/> .
In general, in this project we propose to perform the overall polishing of Web UI components. It includes: - UI extensibility and customization (e.g. UI Themes plugin <https://github.com/jenkinsci/uithemes-plugin>) - Improvement of Jenkins core layouts (data visualization) - Improvements of global and view configuration pages (tabs, etc.) - Improvement of UIs for mobile devices - ... - More potential features are listed here: https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/2.0+UX+improvements Best regards, Oleg Nenashev среда, 2 марта 2016 г., 23:41:58 UTC+3 пользователь Dhruv Khattar написал: > > Hi Developers, > > I am Dhruv Khattar, currently in my sophomore year, pursuing computer > science from IIIT Hyderabad. > I am interested in the Jenkins Web Interface Page Improvements project and > want to be a part of it. > I am good at python, c++, html, css, js and mysql. > It would be grateful if someone could tell me how and where to start. > > Regards, > Dhruv Khattar > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Jenkins Developers" group.
