I'm trying to determine if Jenkins (or what application) may have installed Apache and created the apache user in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 passwd file. I can see that the apache user has /sbin/nologin and the apache user appears to belong to Apache mapped to a default home location of /var/www.
I recently upgraded Jenkins from version 1.641 to 2.3 and do not recall the apache user being present in the system previously. If anyone knows a way I can look into the system to see when this was setup that would also be helpful. I sincerely appreciate the help in advance.
