I am trying to understand how the various object classes work together to perform a build but am struggling - is there a high level overview somewhere?
My motivation is that I have created an initial interface to GitLab CI webhooks to allow GitLab CI jobs to report build status on the same Jenkins dashboards as native Jenkins jobs but I have two issues left to solve: 1. My code works but it could probably be tidied up if I understood the design of the native jobs better 2. I cannot get the 'estimated completion' times to work as I cannot hook the Permalinks in a way that works nicely. Thnaks, Paul DS.
