Hi all. We're busy gearing up for Jenkins' involvement in the Google Summer of Code <https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/>. I'm planning on mentoring this project if it's accepted by Google:
https://jenkins.io/projects/gsoc/2019/project-ideas/working-hours-improvements/ It's best to have more than one mentor on a project, so I'm looking for someone to help out. Responsibilities would include attending regular office hours as available, reviewing code, and providing suggestions. I expect to be able to attend office hours except while on vacation. The project runs from early May until the end of August. One of the goals for this project is to use React to host a javascript calendar control, which if successful will provide a sample for future plugins. This is a great opportunity to share your experience with students, while also helping to expose potential new contributors to Jenkins open source. If the idea of mentoring a student appeals do you, but this project does not, please let me know, as we can always use additional mentors.
