Hi all, At the last governance meeting I shared an Outreachy update and I will reshare and add to it here: * The last round of Outreachy all concluded successfully, Matt Sicker wrote a post wrapping it all up https://jenkins.io/blog/2019/03/28/outreachy-review/ * Thanks to Matt & all mentors, organizers & supporters - plus of course David & Latha our interns. * The application period for next round of Outreachy has completed and I am pleased to share that we have had 2 applicants for the Audit Log plugin project. * Matt Sicker will be leading the mentoring and is happy for the project to take on 2 mentees again this year. * We have however, only committed to 1 round of funding so far. * For the last round Outreachy funded our 2nd intern from the general fund. This round they have had 11 requests for the general fund so will be less likely to be able to fund a second again. * I've added this to agenda for tomorrow's governance <https://wiki.jenkins.io/display/JENKINS/Governance+Meeting+Agenda#GovernanceMeetingAgenda-April24> meeting so we can discuss and consider options.
